This is part of a series of sessions on abstract focussed gelliprinting for the Gelliprint Monthly group - but there are spots available for those who just want a one off.
It's designed for people who have some Gelliprinting experience but it's also suitable for beginners with some art or other printing experience or a curiosity to play and learn.
For October's sessions we'll be exploring transparent layering with bold abstract shapes - including exploring fluorescent paint for those who like it bright - inspired by Somerset print maker Jo Norman (photo 1-3).
There's also the option to collage works together to build larger pieces, or to explore building larger pieces from any sized plate using masking and more inspired by gelliprint practices of Mark Yeates and others (photo 4).
There's also plenty of scope within the session for people to take on the modelling but then go their own way!

MATERIALS:
Please bring your own gelli plate and roller (can be supplied by tutorial if new).
Photocopy paper (A4 and A5) and paints and other required materials will be provided including 120gsm+ cartridge paper.
The max group size is 10 so you'll have lots of chance to get help and ask questions in a relaxed informal setting.
Refreshments are included.

The room is upstairs in an old listed building. There are 4 big heaters in the room that keep us cosy but please wear layers of warm, old clothes that you don't mind getting paint on during Winter months.
Parking is free on site.
