Designed for people who have some Gelliprinting experience.
May be suitable for beginners with some art or other printing experience.
APRIL's session - we're continuing to explore building layers on the gelliplate and this time that means creating layered stencils from card soaked in linseed oil inspired by the stunning work of artist Sarah Jane Gordon and her seashells and pebbles.
We'll also create our own texture plates from card and sticky-back foam sheets.
We'll then exploring printing these in layers for different effects.
Choose your own subject matter or be inspired by the seaside for this month's project!
There will be modelled suggestions & new skills related to the project and a chance to explore your own interpretations first in class, and then at home in the weeks between gatherings if you choose to.

Fri 17/04/26 from 10-1pm
Then also : 15/05/26.
There will then be a break and monthly sessions will then run July to November 2026.

You're welcome to come to any individual session which takes your fancy or sign up for a block. For those who want a regular dose of gelliprinting, this is an opportunity to come together monthly to develop your skills and explore amongst a community of like-minded individuals.
COST: £40 per session (**discounts if you attend multiple sessions).
MATERIALS:
Please bring your own gelli plate and roller (unless arranged with tutor).
Photocopy paper (A4 and A5) and paints and other required materials will be provided including 120gsm+ cartridge paper.
The max group size is 10 so you'll have lots of chance to get help and ask questions in a relaxed informal setting.
Refreshments are included.

The room is upstairs in an old listed building. There are 4 big heaters in the room that keep us cosy but please wear layers of warm, old clothes that you don't mind getting paint on during Winter months.
Parking is free on site.
