What?
Come and learn the art of layering with transparent paints working on a gelliplate with natural plant materials.
We'll start by choosing some plant materials and considering colours palettes for effect. We'll do a quick exercise to explore how colours will look when layered.
We'll then begin printing initial light layers - both silhouette and ghost prints.
We'll continue exploring as we add in second, third and even fourth layers of colours - considering preferences as we go. You'll learn simple forms of registration so your layers line up as you print.
You could choose bright vibrant busy prints in up to 4 layers or quieter more subtle simpler prints in only 2 layers . . . your prints will be unique to you and the choices you make.
The prints could be framed or mounted to create beautiful cards to send to friends. (**blank cards will be available - but without their envelopes - for those who which to mount some pieces in the class).
When?
It runs from 10 - 1pm on 29/08/26
How much?
£40.00 per person including all materials - but feel free to bring a few of your favourite leaves / stems with you (anything which can easily be flattened!)

The max group size is 10 so you'll have lots of chance to get help and ask questions in a relaxed informal setting.
