What the festival is:
The Mixed Media Festival is a three week online creative journey, starting February 2nd, bringing together inspiring artists who share their favourite mixed media approaches and ways of working.
It’s an invitation to explore materials, techniques, and ideas in an open and playful way, and to reconnect with your creative flow.
Who it’s for:
The festival is for curious, creative people who enjoy working with mixed media and want fresh ideas to start the year creatively.
It’s a great fit for anyone who loves experimenting with materials, whether they’re just beginning or already have experience.
In my lesson, ‘From Intuition to Composition’ I’ll be exploring a playful approach to building up a piece using any materials you have to hand and with a focus on the humble line. We then use our pieces to compose finished pieces - I share a few suggestions to get you started!
The festival is a wonderful way to begin the year with new energy, inspiration, and a sense of creative connection.
