Right, line up!

"Right, line up!" is a playful celebration of my combined love of line and texture, using a limited palette of colours to allow the intuitive mark making to do the heavy work.
The board is richly textured from the mixed media collage I apply and from how layers are worn back to reveal lower layers before the work is resolved.

30cm square mixed media work on a birchwood cradled panel. Finished with cold wax. Supplied unframed.
