Come quietly now

"Come quietly now" is an exploration of rich mark making and simple shapes in a limited palette.
The board is richly textured from the many layers the work goes through before they are resolved, with the quiet conversation doing the heavy lifting and the subtle marks and colours revealing more the closer you get.

30cm square mixed media work on a birchwood cradled panel. Finished with cold wax, unframed.
