What?
Learn how to print without a press.
This is the perfect course for beginners but can also be valuable and enjoyable for those who've had some experience of gel plate printing.
Learning to play and explore on the Gelliplate can also be a great tool for any artist to learn to help them any time they are stuck or need to find their flow or if they are looking for some fresh inspiration.
The most surpringing results can come from a willingness to play and explore in this way!
Using stencils and a wide range of found, everyday materials, we'll playfully explore making marks and patterns on the gelliplate.
We'll build up layers and use colours for chosen effects, like contrast.
We'll print onto different papers, including old magazine pages to consider different effects.
For those who would like to, we'll take our playful papers and work towards creating a finished collage.
Gelliprinting is fast to learn and fun and it's easy to get hooked!

It runs from 10 - 1pm on Friday 24th January 2025
How much?
*£35 per person which includes all materials you will use on the day.
*early bird discount if booked before 12/01/25.
Thereafter £45 per person.
Note: If you prefer to pay by bank transfer please get in touch.
The max group size is 10 so you'll have lots of chance to get help and ask questions in a relaxed informal setting.
Refreshments are included.

The room is upstairs in an old listed building. There are 4 big heaters in the room that keep us cosy but please wear layers of warm, old clothes that you don't mind getting paint on during Winter months.
Parking is free on site.
